It has been such an exciting week! Our beautiful baby was born on Friday, May 22nd at 12:49 pm. That also happens to be my birthday and it was the best present I have ever gotten! We named him Grey Richard. He weighed 7 lbs even and was 19 1/2 inches long. He looks just like Hunter, which makes it fun and brings back a lot of memories when he was that small.
Here I am just before delivery. Okay, maybe not just before because I look way too happy. My water broke at 1 am on Friday while I was trying to fall asleep. I was slightly panicked because Jaina was born an hour after my water broke with her. Luckily I have the best sister in the world who packed up her sleeping kids and headed to our house to watch mine. (you are so awesome Nae!) Unfortunately, I pretty much had zero contractions for 7 hours after that so they put me on pitosin and after a grueling hour of labor, he was born!
Hunter and Jaina absolutely love Grey. Jaina giggled the entire time she held him and Hunter had a big smile on his face.
It made it all worth it watching Jon with Grey. He fell in love with him at once and I just love watching the tender side of Jon come out (because it rarely does!)
Grey is now only 5 days old, but it seems like he has always been a part of our family. I couldn't take my eyes off him the first time they handed him to me and I still can't! There is something so special about a new baby. I feel so lucky to be his mommy! We love you Grey!

Oh Mandi! He is absolutely wonderful! I have been thinking about you. He is so beautiful. You should be very proud. I can't wait to meet him! And that is so sweet that Hunter and Jaina love him so much. You look amazing in those pictures (of course!) and seeing those pictures of your family with Baby Grey just makes me so excited to meet our little one. CONGRATULATIONS and I hope to see you soon! Holy Cow! That seemed like it went by way fast. (mostly because it wasn't me waiting to get a baby here.) but, anyway I looked at your blog and was like, oh my heck she already had her babe! I am so excited for you. I love his name he is gorgeous! What a great present for your b-day! He is a very cute addition to your little family!
Congratulations you guys!!!! He is beautiful I can't wait to hold him. I can't believe your water broke and you didn't have any contractions. I guess every kid is different. I am sure he was worth the wait. What a gorgeous baby!!!

Oh Mandi he is so adorable!! I loved getting to hold him for so long!! It was so much fun visiting with you at the hospital - you are the best sister and you look absolutely georgous! I love the picture of you just before having Grey - don't you wish it could be that easy all the way through! You are so strong! How did everything go on Jaina's b-day?
