Jee Jee

The other day, I saw a glimse of what Jaina's personality is going to be like. Hunter had hit her in the head and she looked at him really stunned. She waited a second and then she hit him right back! In a way, I didn't want her learning to hit (and Hunter, too) but I had to laugh because she won't let anyone push her around. Jaina adds so much to our little family. She is at the age (almost 11 months) where she is interacting with us so much. She has a smile that will melt your heart and beautiful blue eyes that just sparkle. She follows Hunter around everywhere, and Hunter doesn't seem to mind. If you've ever been around her, you'll notice that she always has her tongue hanging out. We hope she'll learn to control that before she starts high school. She is a curious little thing and can always be found scavengering the house to find something to play with. She is just learning to climb stairs and does that really well, although she can't come down them yet by herself. She says "ba-ba" for her bottle and "da-da" all the time. She also crawls around the house yelling "yah" (of course while her tongue is hanging out the whole time) and will sometimes just scream out of no where. She recently learned how to clap her hands and automatically does that when you sing Patty cakes. I love to just rock her in my arms at night and sing to her. She falls asleep easily to I am a Child of God. It is hard for me to believe that she will be one soon. I seemed to have taken for granted the hard first few months or her birth. Now that she is sleeping soundly through the night and is easily entertained during the day, I forgot how much I miss her constantly wanting me to hold her. Time just goes way too fast. I am so grateful that I have healthy, beautiful children.
