Yesterday, Jon and I celebrated our 8th anniversary!
In the past, we have usually celebrated by spending the night at a some cheesy bed and breakfast, but with our savings goals in mind for the year, we decided to spend it in our cozy little home.
After feeding the kids a hearty dinner of mac n cheese and a giving them a quick FHE lesson, I ran to Cafe Zupas up the street to get our favorite: pesto chicken paninis and lobster bisque while Jon set up a movie for the kids upstairs on his Ipad.
Now no judging, but we watched the Bachelorette while we enjoyed our meal. I have to admit I was not going to get sucked into it this time, but after watching last weeks episode, we were hooked again.
I really love and appreciate Jon! He is easy going, funny, smart, talented and just an all around good man and we have fun together! He is a great leader, and a kind friend. There is no one I'd rather share my life with than him.
And being the huge pregnant girl that I am, he still makes me feel beautiful and he doesn't complain (too much) when I ask him to rub my feet, which says a lot about him, because I think that is the worst thing in the world for him to have to do:)
