Happy Valentine's Day

My Valentine's Day was so great yesterday. I have the best husband in the world! On Wednesday, we went to Walmart to do some shopping and Jon strayed off to do some shopping of his own. I had told him earlier what would be nice for a gift. When we got back together to pay for our groceries, he told me that he couldn't find anything and that he'd get something for me next year. Of coarse, I tried to not act mad, I was only going to not speak to him for the rest of the week. He really had me going saying he couldn't find any nice jewlery (I know, we were at Walmart). On the way out, I let my emotions really get to me and I was tearing up and thinking that he didn't care about me. Then we got in the car and lo and behold he had my present in a Walmart grocery bag that he had snuck out there earlier. He is such a tease! I should know by now that he isn't that mean. I guess I am really gullible. Even the day he proposed to me, I had no idea what was going on despite the flowers and the expensive meal and going to temple square. Jon is always doing things to make me laugh. I think that is one of things I love best about him. He helps me out in any way, (even though I have to ask him sometimes). He is a great dad. Our kids really adore him! Hunter always wants to go out to the garage when daddy gets home from work to welcome him and he loves to play on the computer with daddy. Jaina loves it when daddy just gives her attention and holds her or feeds her. I am so grateful for my wonderful husband! I love you sweetie pie!

Hunter's 2nd Birthday!!!

We celebrated Hunter's 2nd Birthday yesterday. I can't believe my little guy is already two! We had alot of fun at his party. His aunts and uncles JaNae, Mary, Justin and Tony came and their kids. I don't know if Hunter really understood it was his birthday, but he was acting really shy when we were singing "Happy Birthday" to him. He loved all his presents especially his new tricycle and construction trucks. I was singing "Happy Birthday" to him earlier that day, so he started singing it too, saying "ah-bee-dee". Hunter has brought so much joy to mine and Jon's lives. Happy Birthday Buddy!!!

Our week

I love Jaina's face when she is concentrating on something. She is now scooting (backwards), and sometimes she manages to back herself into corners, which she doesn't like.
Hunter's cousin's came over to spend the night, Friday. He loves playing with his cousins! We also had fun having James and Janese over! These boys loved this marble tower, which my dad built. They played with it for a long time!

Hunter, occasionally, likes to get into my makeup and normally I don't just let him plaster it on, but he was being so funny, I just had to let him go ahead and do it. He also loves to get up on the toilet to reach for my toothbrush, good thing mom's don't care about their kids germs.

Who can't fall in love with faces like these. Jaina can always be found with something in her mouth and Hunter right next to her. I just adore my children! I am grateful everyday to be blessed with healthy, beautiful children!

Jaina is such a daddy's girl! Jon sometimes doesn't know quite what to do with her, though, when she's crying so usually when I come home from meetings or errands, she'll be in her crib, fast asleep. Jon is so good to just watch the kids when I need him to. Jon and I were talking the other day that Jaina will probably be right there when he and Hunter go fishing and hiking. I think deep down Jon would be way excited if she wanted to do that with him!

Yes, I love to torture my kids by getting their picture taken.

I loooove my little "Jee-Jee"! She brings sunshine to my day! What would the world be like without sweet, little babies?
