a new day and a new bed

It was so exciting to see Scarlett in a crib this morning when I came to visit. Isn't it the cutest thing?! I think Scarlett really liked it!

Grandma and Grandpa Pearson came to visit today and Grandma got to hold Scarlett. I really love and appreciate Jon's parents. They give such great council and are such good people.

And here is Jon trying to describe PCH1 to me and what part of the brain it affects. There is so much I need to learn about this disease. It is so complex, but I want to be well informed about what is going on inside my sweet baby's body.

Feedings are still going good today, although Scarlett has been constipated. Hopefully it's something that will pass and she'll be okay. Bet you wanted to know that.

Mandi,
I found your blog a few days back and have been so touched by how you are handling this trial in your life. I am not sure if you remember me from high school, but I just wanted to comment and let you know that you, your family, and your sweet baby are in my prayers.
