We are really enjoying our Summer! It seems like we have something fun planned every week for the next 2 months. These past few weeks we:
went to Uncle Claire and Aunt Tam's farm to see their beautiful garden...
wandered around the coolest farmyard around and wished just a little that I lived there...
hung out by the chicken coup...
took a stroll to the pond...
and swung on an authentic farmyard swing...
spent time with some of the most down to Earth people...
were pulled in a carriage by little miss Ritz...
and played with some of our favorite people...
Farms are seriously the best!
Then we decided we had better get going on our food storage...
so Jon built these heavy duty shelves (much cheaper than the metal ones:))
My sister, JaNae, understands my need to have my food storage aligned just like the canned foods aisle at Smiths...
Then Grey finally learned how to go down the stairs, but still makes Mommy nervous...
Then we celebrated Independence Day by going to the Logan Fireworks...
and felt safe watching them in Grandpa's arms...
Then we had our Packer Family Reunion and had fun seeing our family again...
and stopped to take a picture with 2 of my most favorite people, oh and the 2 cute boys, too!...
Then Hunter found a new interest...
Dragonflies
and spends the majority of his day catching a family of them that he named Daddy, Mommy, Hunter, Jaina and Grey...
then we did the good ole stand by's at home...
and had a BBQ by the world's greatest grill master...
the secret to his delicious burgers...
(a large pat of garlic herb butter in the middle of the patty)
It was so good, we could have had a heart attack after consuming so much grease.
There is still so much more fun to come!! We hope you all have a fabulous Summer, too!

Oh Mandi! I have so much to comment on! Those are the cutest pictures! It looks like you are having the best summer, and it has been so much fun at the family parties (after every one I thank Tyson for marrying me so that I can see my best friends so often!). :)
Those shelves are awesome! I can't wait to see your canned labels all lined up!
ps....is that a pottery barn sign I see in your kitchen? That was my favorite thing in the catalog! I am dying to hear the story...:)

Oh Mandi, what a great post! I love all that you are up to! and just so you know I am remembering the taste of the corn right now...I can only imagine how the hamburgers would have been!
The farm looked like so much fun, I am really kicking myself right now...
Those shelves are awesome...but just look right outside your garage door right now and see how great those boxes and buckets look stacked up!! (You are the BEST!)
By the way, is it just me, or do I seriously look pregnant in that picture...ahhh!!
You have such a blessed family and I love seeing all the wonderful and fun things your family gets to do together!! :) I sure love you guys!! Way to go! :D
