The past couple of weeks have been somewhat like a dream. We found someone who wants to buy our home. Yeah! If everything follows through, we will be moving Sept. 13th.
In a way I am so excited to leave Magna, but on the other hand, I am going to miss it. I have had so many happy memories in our home. It is where Hunter learned how to walk and to crawl up and down stairs. It is where we brought Jaina home after she was born and where she learned to crawl and walk. It is where Jon learned how to fix the broken water pipe that was spewing water everywhere in our basement and where he spent days on end installing laminate floors. It is where I painted morning and night for weeks because I was so excited that I finally had a place I could do that. It is where I've given the kids several dozen baths, walked up the stairs hundreds of times to put them to bed, andwhere Jon and I have watched ridiculous amounts of TV in our family room with the cranberry carpet. There are so many other great memories.
I am really going to miss the ward members. They are so humble and so friendly and I have learned so much and grown so much through the callings I have had. You truly do learn to love the ones you serve. But despite all that, I really can't wait to leave. I am so excited to be closer to family and be in an area where Jon will actually let me go jogging outside by myself.
It was such an adjustment for Jon and I to live in the Salt Lake Valley after both of us grew up in smaller towns. There is something about up North that Jon and I love and hope that one day we'll end up there again.
Through fasting and alot of praying, we felt like we needed to move and get ourselves in a better place financially and in the place where we will want to raise our family. We have been blessed with the opportunity to house sit for family for a year and a half and we feel it is going to be a great opportunity to save and decide on our next move. I have seen the hand of the Lord in this whole process and my testimony has grown so much stronger from living here.

Mandi, I'm so excited for your move but I can see what you mean about missing Magna and your ward. I know it's been hard but what a learning experience for you both. I know you've both grown and it's hard leaving a place with such good memories. By the way, I posted the tag. Thanks!
Oh, I am soo excited for you guys!! Congrats! I'm sure you are both so relieved!! How exciting!! Let us know if we can do anything to help with the move!
I know how you feel. Moving is hard, even when you're ready for a change. I hope the sale goes through and that you enjoy living closer to your families. You must be living right because it sounds like everything has really fallen into place!
Congratulations! I'm so glad that you found a buyer. Your house is so darling and you guys have sone so much with it. I totally know what you mean about leaving a place with so many memories. I remember the walking through our old house for the last time and sobbing. But I'm so happy you'll be closer!
I have had those same feelings so many times. However, every time I move I find something special about my knew place and you will too. So good luck and thanks for coming to see me over the weekend. We loved having you guys around.
Yeah, Mandi. I am so happy for you guys! I loved reading all the memories you have had. We have loved coming over and sharing some of those memories with you! Justin has deeply missed that carpet, though! I can't wait for you to be a little closer. I love you guys so much - you are definately my favorite sister - ever!!!
I'm glad that things are falling into place for you! Yeehaw! -Where is it that you're moving?

For some reason, I can't comment on your recent post. That's so cool the Beehives came and chalked your driveway. And I love the Hunter isms. Keep them coming! It was fun seeing you this weekend. Your kids are darling!
