Growing up and learning more

Hunter has been such a hoot lately! He is saying the funniest things. Whenever Jaina crawls out of the room, Hunter asks, "Where Jaina go, huh?" Whenever Jon has to be the bad guy and make Hunter go to bed, Hunter sometimes says, "I don't like da-da" Its really sad, but kind of funny. I think deep down, Jon feels bad:)

Sometimes I can hear Hunter singing the ABC's although you wouldn't know it if you weren't around him all the time. It more sounds like "A-B-A-E-O"

I am amazed at how much he has learned in the past few months. He has such a desire to learn and it is such a neat opportunity to teach him!

Hunter is just about potty trained-Hurray!!-A few weeks ago, we bought him "Cars" underwear and when we got home, we put them on him, and he threw a huge fit and wanted them off. The other day I tried to make him wear them and he said he would if Jaina wore them. He's getting good at negotiating!

I'm really surprised at how well Hunter is drawing. The other day he was drawing on his magna-doodle and he told me he drew a monster. Here is the picture. I'd have to say it looks like a monster.

Jaina has been so fun lately. She looks a little overly dramatic here with her face in her hands, but she is really just playing peek-a-boo. She's also been making silly faces and copying alot of what we do.
Last week she took her first real steps and is working up to taking more. She is everything you'd expect a little girl to be! She loves to cry, scream, and get lots of attention!
She is learning so much, too. She is learning where her belly button is and her nose and teeth, and when she finds my nose, she grabs on really tight and it hurts! We were reading a book the other day and she was able to point to a ball, a car, and a fish. It is so much fun to watch my kids learn and grow!

Good ole coloring!

The other day we took a trip to the park. The kids loved playing on slides and Jaina eventually went down them all by herself.

Mandi, you are so georgous! I love your new picture and your hair looks really cute! Hunter is so awesome to be almost all the way potty trained. You are so lucky! I am sure you will love having your diaper budget be cut right in half!!! Mine will be doubled...unless Hunter can teach Taylor! Those kids are so darn adorable!

Mandi your kids are so dang cute! Not that I'm surprised, because you're pretty gorgeous yourself! Looks like you are a wonderful mommy... which you should be, you had a lot of practice playing dolls when we were little!
