This past weekend was so nice, we just had to spend it outdoors. Saturday morning, we drove up to Cottonwood canyon to look at Mountain goats that the Wildife Resources was showing. I wasn't exactly excited to go at first, but Jon was so excited to go, I had to be somewhat interested in seeing them. It was actually really cool. I was so impressed with these goats. They were just hanging out on these jagged cliffs like it was no big deal. The Wildlife Resources had spotting scopes there for us to look through so we have a picture of what we saw through them. They also had a goat's fur and horns on display for us to touch and see. Hunter wasn't so sure about touching the horns, but after we left, he couldn't stop talking about them. Jon has really gotten me into loving the outdoors. One of my favorite things to do in the Summer is to go hiking up in the canyon. I think that is one of the pluses of living down this way is all the great places to hike. After we saw the goats, we had a picnic lunch at Murray park and let the kids play. Then at night, we went to the Gateway mall and ate at Z'Tejas with my good friend Alisha and her friend Jake. Afterwards, we headed over to Dick's Sporting Goods and Jon and Jake went wall climbing. Jon went clear to the top in a matter of minutes, and it was about 70 feet high. I was very impressed! I love that Summer is just around the corner! It feels like the world just comes back to life this time of year!

I think Jon is an ugly moron. I wish those goats would have pushed him off the mountain. You're a drunk mountain goat. Thanks,
James
