The other day I was reading in my journal of when Hunter was 8 months old to see if Jaina was doing the same things as he was then. It's funny because Jaina seems so much younger than Hunter was at the age, maybe that's because she is my baby, but Hunter had a tooth by this point and he was also crawling. I've heard that girls develop physically slower than boys so I'm not too worried, of coarse I have to admit, I've been forcing her onto her hands and knees. She'll stay that way for a second and then will plop right down on the ground. I guess with having another child it's important I don't compare the two.

Hunter is sooo much fun right now! He is such a blabber mouth. The other day, he came up to me and said "mom, mom" and then he looked at me really seriously..."trink" (drink), I couldn't help but laugh. When he wants to get up on a chair, he says "up-e-down" I think he gets a little confused of the difference between up and down. When Jaina goes down for a nap he says "Jee-Jee, nie-nie"(Jaina went night night) And the other day I caught him reading a book on his little potty. He is such a little man. I just love him to pieces.

Jaina is my sweet little girl. Sometimes I'll be holding her and I'll look at her and she'll look at me really shy and will face plant me and give me a hug. She is sitting up so good and is rolling all over the place.

Jon and I have so much fun with these kids. We really have been blessed with good children, they really are well behaved kids for the most part. Jon just loves Hunter so much. He always calls him his little buddy and he is so sweet with Jaina. He and Hunter will definetely be protective of her when she's out there dating...aaahh, hopefully that day doesn't come too fast!
